Dashboard Permissions
Dashboard Permissions control who can access the EasyPoll Dashboard for your server and what they are allowed to do there.
Default Access
These users always have full access to the dashboard:
- The Server Owner
- Any user with the
Administratorpermission - Any user with the
Manage Serverpermission
They are listed automatically and their permissions cannot be changed, because they come from Discord itself.
Granting Access to a Role
To give dashboard access to users without Administrator or Manage Server permissions:
- Go to Settings in the dashboard
- Find the Dashboard Permissions section
- Click the + button and select a role
The role is added with View Server, which is the minimum needed to open the dashboard for this server. Select the role in the list on the left to choose what exactly it is allowed to do, then save your changes.

Full Access
Enable Full Access to grant a role everything at once, including permissions that are added in the future. This is the equivalent of what the Administrator and Manage Server roles get.
If you only want a role to do specific things, leave Full Access off and pick the individual permissions below it.
Available Permissions
Permissions are grouped by the area of the dashboard they unlock.

How Permissions Combine
If a member has several roles with dashboard permissions, all of them are combined. A member with one role that may view polls and another that may manage restrictions can do both.
Parts of the dashboard a role is not allowed to use are hidden. Menu entries, cards and buttons only appear when the required permission is there.
Removing Access
Select the role and click Remove Access, then save your changes. The role disappears from the list and its members lose dashboard access, unless they still have Administrator, Manage Server, or another role with dashboard permissions.
Turning off all individual permissions keeps the role in the list so you can keep editing it. Use Remove Access to take it out completely.
Only the Server Owner and members with Administrator or Manage Server permissions can change Dashboard Permissions. A role with Manage Roles can change voting weights, but not permissions.
The @everyone role cannot be given dashboard permissions. Use a dedicated role instead.
