Debug Command

About the command

The Debug Command helps you find and fix problems with EasyPoll. It runs a quick check of your setup and reports the most important information in one place, so you can spot what's misconfigured. If a poll won't post or the bot seems unresponsive, this is the first command to try.

Quick Overview

  • Command: /debug
  • Required Options: None
  • Optional Options: channel
  • Default Required Permissions: Manage Server

Arguments

OptionDescriptionRequiredDefault
channelChannel to debug.Current channel

What it checks

  • Server information – server ID, name, and language
  • Bot permissions – whether EasyPoll has the permissions it needs, both server-wide and in the selected channel
  • Common issues – highlights typical misconfigurations that stop polls from working

If a channel is missing permissions, the reply includes a Fix Channel Permissions button to correct them quickly. By default it checks the channel you run the command in. To check a different one, use the channel option.

Getting help from support

The command also generates a shareable debug link. If you contact the support team, sending them this link lets them see your setup and help you much faster.
